How to change Kotlin version in Android project

Open your root-level build.gradle.kts file.

// Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-projects/modules.
plugins {
    id("com.android.application") version "8.1.1" apply false
    id("org.jetbrains.kotlin.android") version "1.9.0" apply false
}

org.jetbrains.kotlin.android determines the Kotlin version.

In this case, 1.9.0 is being used.
